Dan Foster

Head of Trading Technology

Dan Foster is the Head of Trading Technology at Saluda Grade. He officially joined the firm in August 2024 after partnering with Saluda on a consultative basis for several years. Mr. Foster focuses on building fast, reliable tools that give capital markets teams an edge — smarter moves, quicker execution, deeper insight. With over two decades of experience at the intersection of capital markets and technology, he’s held roles ranging from CTO to reverse mortgage trader at firms including Bank of America, Stifel, and Baird. He also co-founded Unlock Technologies. Mr. Foster earned his B.S. in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte.
