Timothy Carr, CFA, is the Chief Investment Officer at Saluda Grade. Mr. Carr has 25+ years of structured product experience as a portfolio manager, trader, and structurer. Prior to joining Saluda Grade at its inception, he was a founding partner and Co-CIO of RMBS Management LLC, a mortgage centric securitized products hedge fund. Previously, he co-managed mortgage investments for Camulos Capital and ran a proprietary trading desk at Merrill Lynch where he was a member of the Merrill Lynch Banks Portfolio Management group. Prior to Merrill Lynch, he worked in structured finance at Deutsche Bank, Bear Stearns, and KPMG as a structurer. Mr. Carr holds a BS in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Washington & Lee University and a MS in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University.
